Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 Eligibility Requirements
JTET Paper-I To apply for Paper-I, you need to have completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks. Alternatively, you can qualify if you have a 2-year Diploma or a 4-year Graduation degree in Elementary Education. You must be at least 18 years old to apply, and there’s no maximum age limit.
JTET Paper-II For Paper-II, you should have a Graduation degree along with a B.Ed or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Arts along with an Integrated Bachelor’s of Education, you’re also eligible. The minimum age for Paper-II is 21 years, and there’s no upper age limit.

JTET Exam Pattern 2024
The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) has two papers. You’ll have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete each paper. Paper I is taken offline using an OMR sheet and is worth 200 marks. For every correct answer, you’ll get 1 mark. Paper II is a bit longer, with 250 multiple-choice questions covering different topics, and just like Paper I, each correct answer will give you 1 mark.
